Review: The Face Shop "E'thym O2 Water Aura Cream"

 Hello everyone! Woo, I'm on a roll with blogging now! Hopefully I can get a lot more done during the summer since there won't be school and such. Summer here is so hot, and all year round, it's pretty dry. I have combination skin, and it gets pretty dry in the winter, and this was definitely a life saver for me last winter. And for those around the other side of the globe, winter is approaching, so you might want to check this out.

The Face Shop has really opened up globally and I see it's stores all across America now, so that's a plus because you can easily get it around you now possibly!

Rating: 8.5 out of 10

Skin type: Any; not extremely oily skin, great for dry skin and normal skin.

Me: I have combination skin that gets dry in the winter, so I need something that will moisturize without making me oily. Even in the summer when my skin has one of those 'dry' days, this feels extremely nice after popping it in the fridge... sooo refreshing. And I love how this is a very natural product, so you know your skin is getting good stuff.

Repurchase: Yes! I would definitely repurchase this when I run out.

How-to: After washing your face, applying toner, and apply this on. A LITTLE BIT GOES A LONG WAY! ***I would recommend this as a night moisturizer, but if you have dry skin, daytime would be fine too!

Price: I don't remember the price, sorry! But I believed it was around $20-30 or so, maybe more on the pricey side of things I think... But if you think about it, you really only use a little bit, so this could last you for quite a while!

Quality: It's a really great moisturizer cause immediately you can feel how plump and moisturized your skin is, and your skin feels fresh and not heavy at all. However, for oilier skin, you have to be careful, cause it can make you look oilier if you use too much.

Smell: It smells very fresh. It reminds me of water... even though water doesn't have a smell, but it just reminds me of something very fresh and light.

Texture: It feels like a VERY THICK cream (yet 'watery'), and you think it's gonna make you oily and clog your pores, but it really doesn't. Since being a thick cream, you only need the tiniest bit for your whole face, and once applied, it feels great. Your skin feels very plump, moisturized, and fresh. It definitely seals in all the moisture of your skin without it feeling heavy.

Packaging: The packaging is a thick glass jar. Not the most sanitary, but I really love the design of the jar and the mint color. The cap actually 'snaps' when twisted, so you know it's completely sealed.

Review: Melliesh "Lip Gloss: 06 Candy Pink"

 Remember this pretty thing I got a while back from a giveaway? I've actually been using it enough to make a review on it! Even though it's already well known.... I really love this gloss because it's pigmented and the color is just so pretty! I've practically been wearing this gloss by its own almost everyday, LOVE!

Rating:  9  out of 10

Color: No. 6 Candy Pink

Me: I don't really use any lip products other than balms, but when I do, I usually wear lip glosses. And this one is definitely one of my favorite because it actually has color and not just 'glossy'!  I like how its like the perfect 'baby pink' color that I think will be flattering for all. I like how it's not sticky, and it's like the perfect color for springtime!

Repurchase: Maybe in a different color!

How-to: Just put this on top of your bare lips for a pretty milky pink color! **You might want to apply a balm or something before because it kinda brings out the lines in your lips/chapped skin if you're not careful.

Price: $15-18; It's a little pricey for such a small product, but then again, this is based on US prices and this is a Japanese product....

Quality: This is the most pigmented lip gloss I've ever used. You can actually see the PINK when you apply it and it's just not clear. There are no sparkles or anything, so it looks pretty natural as well. It's defiantly not sticky; I feel like it's a cross between a stain and a gloss because it stays on for a quite a while too!

Smell: No smell!

Texture: This lip gloss is not sticky, even though it may feel like it when you just put it on/out of the tube. Slowly, it kinda becomes just a lip stain.

Packaging: This gloss is a lot smaller than most of your usual lipglosses. Very simple packaging, just a pink tube and a black top with 'Melliesh' printed on it and some gold accents on the cap. The applicator just looks like your typical applicator, however, the brush itself is a little bigger than most normal ones.

Review: Pop Beauty "Aqua Lacquer - Melted Peach"

Song Addiction: Rolling in the Deep by Adele. 

Anyways! This is was in my Fall Haul like wayyyy back, but I finally got around to reviewing it! This is like one of the first Pop items I've tried, and I have to say, it's pretty good! I love how different it is from almost every other lip glosses; it's just very unique! It's great for the upcoming spring/summer because it's such a pretty and light gloss!

Rating: 8 out of 10

Color: Melted Peach

Me: I usually hate wearing any lip products because I don't like the feeling of it, and it's just too troublesome! But when I do, this is probably one of my favorite lip glosses. I love how watery and non-sticky it is, and because of the mint, it cools your lips and adds a little plumping effect. This looks great on top of a lipstick too because it adds a little pretty shine :) 

Repurchase: Yes; I would definitely love to try this in a different color!

How-to: Just put this on top of your bare lips or on top of a lipstick/stain for a pretty shine!

Price: $14; I think it is a tad pricey, but not over the top pricey because this is like a drugstore brand almost. Do I think it's worth it? ...not really actually; It's not something that's super glam; it's just a normal everyday lip gloss.

Quality: It leaves your lips soooo moisturized, and it lasts a very long time! I wore this and then I accidentally fell asleep, and when I woke up, it was still on! The only thing I really don't like is the color pay-off; you can barely tell the difference on your lips! You can see very fine shimmers in the tube, but you can't really see them on your lips.

Smell: It has a sweet minty smell that's not too strong! Very soothing scent that's not totally in-your-face.

Texture: This gloss is very watery! It feels a little sticky when you apply it on, but once its on your lips, you can't feel that it's sticky at all! Feels like nothing!

Packaging: The packaging style is very unique because it's in a tube, but it has an applicator too! The applicator is super duper cool because it's like a spatula! Its very easy to use, and great for the gloss texture itself because you'll never get too much on your lips. And the tube is very sturdy and convenient to carry around!

Review: EcoTools "Bamboo 6 Piece Eye Brush Set"

It's March already!! Time flies! It's almost time for the summer time or spring break and traveling is something that a lot people will be doing during those breaks! So here's a review on a travel set of the EcoTool's brush set for eye makeup. Let's get started! 

Rating: 7.5 out of 10

Me: Now who doesn't like convenience?! This was actually my first "brush set" and it really did me well because everything is just very basic and easy to carry around. I currently own a lot of EcoTools brushes and they're soooo soft; I love them! I always have this mini brush roll with me whenever I travel or go somewhere because it's small and it just contains very basic tools.

How-to: On the back of the original packaging, it lists the brushes and their uses, but I wanted to share how I use these brushes too!

    Blend: This is one bigggg brush! It's like almost the same size as my thumb! If you try to blend with this brush, all your eye make-up literally goes away... Unless you're packing on a solid dark color, this brush is terrible for blending. HOWEVER! For travel I like to use this to apply BLUSH even though its small, it's easy to blend the blush around!

       Highlight: I personally would use this brush for BLENDING because it's just like your typical fluffy-blending-brush! It does a pretty good job at blending and giving a soft effect.

       Crease: BEST BRUSH in this whole roll! It's so easy to use to do your crease because it's at an angle so it creates the perfect shape. I love love love this brush!

       Shade:  This is quite small for a shading brush because you can't really pack on a whole lot of color or anything. It's good for applying color on your lids or smudging. 

       Smudge:  This is a decent brush for smudging because it does the job, but it's just a little too fluffy to get a good control of 'smudging'. 

Price: $7.99; that is a really good price for this set because it has your essentials and the brush quality is really soft! *Don't forget any coupons or promotions so you can get this at a cheaper price!

Quality: The brushes are soooooo soft and the handles are really nice as well, I really like
that they have the different brush names imprinted on the side.

Size: 6 brushes

Packaging: The packaging of the brush set itself is really convenient because it folds out to a section with the brushes (each held by a stretchy band) and it has a small rectangular mirror (the mirror isn't very clear).  The canvas material gets dirty really easily and looks really bad after a while, so you have to wash it... It's really easy to take around though because it's small and contains really basic things.

Overall: If you're a beginner or someone that just doesn't wear a lot of makeup, this MIGHT be a good little set to take with you just to have brushes to use at your convenience when you do wear make-up. But if you already have many brushes and stuff; you should SKIP this.

Review: Korres "Pomegranate Balancing Cream-Gel Moisturiser"

Hi everyone!

I'm super ready to review this moisturizer cause I really love this! It's like perfect for combination skin; perfect! I've had this since like mid-November and I'm almost halfway through! I remember first hearing about this in one of BubzBeauty's favorite videos, so I kept that in mind and finally went to go get it when I ran out of moisturizer! Well, follow up on the review!

Skin type: Any; great for combination!

Me: I use this only at night because I use my Benefit moisturizer with SPF in the morning, but you could and night if you'd like! The thing about this moisturizer, is that it's really good for combination! It moisturizes my dry areas (cheeks) and it slightly moisturizes my oily T-zone without making it super oily or sticky! I love how light weight is is, and the way it smells is heavenly! I'm really excited to try more Korres products :)

Repurchase: Yes! Unless I find something that's better for moisturizing at night, I'm definitely going to buy another one when I run out!

How-to: After washing your face, applying toner, apply this on! Try to just dip your finger into it once to prevent less contamination. 

Price: $32; not that expensive, but not cheap either. I would say it's pretty good for the price because it has lasted me for about 5 months or so?

Quality: It's a really really great moisturizer for combination skin because it moisturizes dry skin and doesn't make oily parts oilier. ** If you're dry-combination, this might be not enough moisture in the winter time.

Smell: It smells super nice! I really love the scent. It's super fresh and light. It smells like sweet pomegranate? I just really like the smell... makes me happy ^_^

Texture: Its not really a watery cream, but it's not super thick either... It's is more "water-like" though. You can't really tell about the "gel" aspect though, but it's very watery and it's like "cooling". It's super light because it sinks into your skin like immediately.

Packaging: The packaging is a thick glass jar. Not the most sanitary, but the color is really cool... haha!

Review: Benefit "Triple Performing Facial Emulsion SPF 15 PA++"

Pretty packaging!

 Yay! Finally got the time to sit down and start posting reviews again! I actually got this not too too long ago, around November?I bought a whole bunch of different moisturizers because I was completely out! I'll try to review all of them if I can... I remember when Benefit just came out with their skin care line "B. Right!" and I was totally drooling over everything because the packaging was just so pretty and I've always been a big fan of Benefit products ^_^ Finally got around to trying this out; and I actually really like it!

Skin type: Any; great for combination!

Me: I love multitasking products; and this one is it! This is probably one of my favorite moisturizers with SPF because it's so light yet moisturizing! This oil-free moisturizer is also great for my combination skin because it's moisturizing enough, but it doesn't make me shiny (except for a little bit in the summer). I've always been a big fan of Benefit, and honestly, when they came out with their skincare line, I was super happy! I was going to initially purchase their full-on moisturizer; but that thing is thick! That might be good for very cold and dry climate though, but not where I live! I use this in the mornings and it's super easy to get everything I need in the morning ^_^

Repurchase: Yes! It's a great moisturizer, and I haven't tried anything like it yet! It's light, moisturizing, and it has SPF.

How-to: After washing your face in the morning, use toner/serum, and apply this on your face and neck for your morning moisturizer and sunscreen! You can use more sunscreen if you need, but SPF 15 seems adequate for indoors and little sun exposure. *** I use about 2-3 pumps each time.

Price: $28; It's not the cheapest, but reasonably affordable.

Quality: It's super lightweight, oil-free, and contains SPF! It's a great moisturizer!

Smell: It has a really light and fresh scent; cucumber-like. All the items in the Benefit skincare line all have a similar smell and it's quite soothing. Nothing too heavy; very light and pleasant.

Texture: Emulsions are usually very light and watery, but this comes out more like a lotion/cream. Not thick, but enough to hold the consistency. It feels great in the morning because when my face is still moist, it coolingly sinks in :) One word: Light-cream.

Packaging: I love the packaging for the whole line! Super cute and it fits nicely! It has a cork-like cap (it's plastic) and the pump is very easy to control. The bottle design is very unique, however it is a tad inconvenient because of the wide bottom; a little unbalanced. However, I love how unique it is :)

Review: Suisse Programme "Cellular Skin Radiance Serum"

So a few weeks ago, Sasa was hosting a 'look-out' for users to test this serum out! They chose 20 people and sent out these little 'trial' bottles. Sasa was so nice about everything and it was really fast too; when I received information that I would be getting one, I got one in the next week! I've been using this serum for a little over a week now, and I have seen a change to my skin! It's weird because I did see change to my skin, but even my friends commented on how soft and smooth my skin looked! And that's what blew me away :) Let's get on to the review!

Me: I'm usually not a big serum user, but since this was sent to me for review, I decided to give it a shot. I'm quite impressed with this serum! It's very light, yet the benefits are amazing! I've been using this for a little over a week now, and I only use it at night. This serum is actually perfect to add to my wintertime skincare routine since my skin does get a little drier in the wintertime; it's been the time of finals and tests so this majorly helped my skin. My skin does feel a little firmer, smoother, and brighter! My friends even commented on how smooth my skin looked ^_^ I've actually been eying Suisse Programme products ever since Aimee Chan endorsed it; ironic !

Purchase: Yes if I could!

How to: After washing your face and using toner, pump 1 pump into your palm and massage/pat it on your face/neck. Day and night. Then apply moisturizer or just continue with the rest of your skincare routine!

Price: $155; that is really really expensive! However, 'Suisse Programme' is a prestigious skincare line... I would get this if I could, but the trial size has changed my skin, so hopefully it will say that way :)  

Quality: I really do like this serum, cause it does everything it's suppose to. However,  I feel like for the full price, I should see something more out of it, or at least a more dramatic change to my skin. Overall though, it does what it's suppose to and has improved my skin ^_^

Smell: I don't know how to describe the smell, but it reminds me to vitamin E and honey? It's not a sweet smell, but it's not a heavy/distinctive smell either. The smell immediately goes away after it sinks into your skin and you can't smell it at all later on.

Texture: It comes out like a watery gel, and it immediately sinks into your skin after massaging/patting it into your skin. It does feel sticky at first, but after it is dry/absorbed, you don't feel a thing!

Packaging: It comes in pump bottle and you just pump out the product; easy to control and sanitary!

Review: TheBodyShop "Tea Tree Oil"

Skin Type: Oily skin; blemishes.
Me:  I personally have combination skin and I often break-out or get a blemish here and there. I have about 2 acne treatments that are my HG items and this is one of them. I love this item! I feel like it really works for me and it's just pure tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is known as a natural ingredient that works against oily skin and blemishes. I put this on just any type of blemishes; but its especially good for those that are really stubborn or just irritating. I think I've gone through like 2 bottles already? And I still have back-ups.
Repurchase: Yes! I have two back-ups of this, and I will continue buying this until I find something even better.
How to: After washing your face and applying moisturizer, use this treatment last. Using a Q-tip, carefully drop some oil on it and apply it on any blemishes or any areas that are problematic. Or, if you have a larger area, carefully drop some oil on a clean finger and dab it in that area. ** I would recommend using this particular treatment to heal acne (that you've popped) or on a big zit to dry it up. This also reduces redness of big zits!
Price: $9 really inexpensive for this since you only need a little and this will last you forever!

Quality: I really like this oil because it's pure and it works! It's not the most effective or fastest way, but it heals and reduces the redness of the zit and takes the acne away. Tea tree is a well-known natural ingredient that fights against acne.

Smell: It smells very minty; the typical tea tree smell. Not a peppermint smell, but more like a earthy mint. The smell does not bother me at all, and it feels tingly on the skin.
Texture: It does come out as a liquid, but not 'oily'.
Packaging: The packaging has changed a little bit ever since it just came out. I think the very first one is just an open mouth with no stopper, so you had to dip a Q-tip in carefully. Now. it comes with this small stopper with a 'spout' opening. Course, the product is in a little glass container with a secure screw-top cap. It is pure oil; so the packaging is not really convenient; I think it would be better if it had a dropper.

Review: Laneige "Power Essential Skin Refiner Light_EX"

Finally. I have time to do this post! See? I'm almost done with the toner! I feel so accomplished! This is my very first Laneige product, and I am in love! I really want to try more of their products; but first I need to finish what I have (or so I hope). Toner is something I always use and is part of my daily skincare routine so finding a good toner is very important to me. This is definitely one of my favorites and I hope I can repurchase this soon! Anyways, let's get onto the review in detail:

Rating: 9.5 out of 10

Skin Type: All skin types; normal to oily.

Me: Toners are definitely essential in my skincare routine and it really helps to refine my pores and make sure that everything is off my face. This is my very first Laneige product, and I really really love it! From using this product, I feel like my skin has been better overall. This has kept my acne in check and it really cleans my skin with an extra step. There has been a pretty good improvement in my skin ever since I've used this product.

How to: Apply this to a cotton pad and wipe this all over your face after your normal skincare routine day and night. OR Apply this to thin sheets of cotton pad and use this as a moisture refining mask. 

Price: $25-40 It's a really big range, but it depends on where you get it and all the specials going on. I personally don't remember how much I bought it for, but I think it was in the $25 range? 

Quality: I really love this product; worth the money and it helps your skin. I think it does help to improve my skin texture and help refine my pores a little. 

Smell: I don't know how to describe the smell, but I love it! It's fresh, but it doesn't smell strong at all! It smells 'natural', like a product that you know doesn't have chemicals that are harmful to your skin. I really love the smell, so light and refreshing.

Texture: It has a water consistency that soaks into your skin and refreshes it immediately!

Packaging: It comes in a tall glass bottle with a screw cap top and has a rubber stopper. It may seem inconvenient and bulky, but the bottle is very slim and not that heavy! The screw cap top is amazingly easy to screw off, just a light twist will take the cap off and it does not leak at all. I love the rubber stopper inside because it controls the amount of product you want. The packaging makes this product look so pretty to have ^_^

Review: Detclear Bright & Peel "Fruits Peeling Jelly"

After my spending on Cure, I found this at an Asian gift shop. It's similar to Cure "Natural Aqua Gel" ! I believe they have different versions of this, like a foam, oil, and gel.
Rating: 9 out of 10
Skin Type: Any
Me: Super impressed with this product! I love it! I can use this as my "back up" for Cure! Unlike exfoliaters that are actually granules of something, this gently exfoliates with jelly! I think it does help out a little with black heads slowly over time. I really love this thing!
How to: After cleansing your face, pump 2-3 pumps and spread it evenly on your face. Massage in circular motions until the liquid turns into little jelly clumps. (Maybe about one to two minutes.) After, just rinse with lukewarm water, and continue with the rest of your skincare routine!
Price: $10-15, pretty good because this will probably last you a long time. Its like a really good dupe of Cure and the price is a lot cheaper for almost the same effect.
Quality: It's actually a really good dupe of the expensive Cure that I got. It does a good job removing dead skin and reveal brighter skin.
Smell: It smells so good!! Really fruity that's not too heavy, but light and sweet! I love, love, love the smell! (Smells like yummy gummy candy!)
Texture: It's a clear liquid that forms into small jelly clumps when you start massaging your skin. Like Cure (forms white little beads), but except this turns to jelly! (Awesome texture!) The only little thing that I don't like about this is how liquidy it is at the beginning, so it's hard to keep on your face.
Packaging: Just like Cure, it's a simple bottle with a nice pump and it has like a "lock" thing on the pump so it doesn't spill. It's a tad cuter than Cure with a yellow pump, and fruits all over the background, but all the instruction is in Japanese! ^_^
Amount: 180 ml.

Me: My very first toner, and the one I'm in love with. I've tried a couple in between, but I eventually end up buying this again. I think this is my 4th bottle now. I love how it cleans my skin without leaving my skin tight. I can feel that it's helping my skin every time I use this. I love how it's 95% organic, and I also feel so good about myself after recycling this at their store when I go to pick up something else. One small thing I don't like about this toner is smell, it's a little strong in the bottle, but it smells really fresh on your face.
How to: After cleaning your face, take a circle cotton pad a put some drops onto the cotton pad. You don't want to use so much so that your face is wet. This helps to clean up any traces of dirt left just in case you missed some. I know that I really do miss some spots, esp. during the summer! I was so amazed how much was left on my face. Just swipe the cotton pad all over your face, and then apply you're moisturizer! *This is amazing when your skin is just so bad, and you just need a refresh during the day. It calms your skin too!
Price: $25. Amazing toner, and I don't have a problem with this price. One bottle could probably last you for at least 3 months if you use it right.
Quality: Best toner I've ever used. My face is so clean afterward, and it doesn't dry out my face. Sometimes when I have a really bad "under-the-skin" pimple, I press this on it, and it's not itchy or irritating anymore.
Smell: In the bottle, it has a strong smell. It smells like a strong citrus smell, but it's not really bothering to me since it doesn't leave a smell on your face.
Texture: It's just a normal liquid toner. You can easily pour it on a cotton pad, and swipe it around your face. It's like alcohol (kinda cooling and refreshing) but it doesn't dry out your skin.
Packaging: My very first bottle of this had the stupidest packaging. The bottle looked exactly like this one, but on the inside where the toner poured out, it was open mouth. My second bottle, I spilled like half the thing because I knocked it down, *sigh*. My third bottle, it's like this one, where the opening has a plastic covering with a small hole so the toner can "drop" out. Thank gosh! Now, looking at the website, they have a new packaging! Review: Skinfood "Papaya Yogurt Mask Wash-Off"

Me: I was looking forward to this mask, but I guess it's just another disappointment. Eh, it's alright. It did moisturize somewhat and help my skin, but it's not the greatest. I don't even think it removed any dead skin off my face. I don't think I'm going to repurchase this mask. I think it's great if its hot out, and this was in the fridge. This would be like an awesome treat to your skin after a hot and harsh day.
How to: After washing your face, apply this to a dry face, and gently massage the mask until some of the blue beads are gone and then leave it on your face for another 10-15 minutes. Rinse off with water, and continue with the rest of your skin routine!
Price: 150,000 VND ~ $8. Yesstyle: $18. Totally worth it, and I'm glad I got it cheaper since this isn't the mask I enjoy a lot.
Quality: The quality is alright, skin is hydrated, but not over hydrated, so that's good. I think this mask would be really good if you have normal skin and after a day of being outside, take this out from the fridge, and it's gonna be like a treatment for your skin.
Smell: Smells like yummy Asian jelly. The smell is amazing!!
Texture: Very liquidy, but not too much so it's easy to apply and massage.
Packaging: Like all the Skinfood masks, it's in a jar. Cute, but I don't think it's the best packaging for this liquidy mask.

Review: DERMAdoctor "bodyGUARD" Sunscreen

Going to VN this year meant SUN. I never actually used a sunscreen for my face since some things already have SPF in it. But being in the sun all the time meant extra protection. I went to Sephora to get something for oily skin because I knew that I would sweat a lot, and I wanted my face to stay clear and not droop. This definitely did the job.

Skin Type: All skin types, great for oily.
Me: My first official sunscreen for my face, and it's awesome! It's so light, and not heavy at all. This did not break me out, or make my skin feel heavy. Lightweight, smells fine, and I can just re-apply this whenever I need! I just use it for my face and neck, and since I carried this in my bag, when my body gets way too hot before I could get normal sunscreen, I use this too!
How to: Just after putting on your moisturizer, apply this all over the face. Re-apply after about 2 hours out in the sun. It's definitely light, so I don't mind applying this in the summer!
Price: I got this at Sephora, but I think it was $26. Not bad for such an awesome sunscreen! I do use this only on my face and neck though.
Quality: Best sunscreen, SPF 30 is a great number for SPF because it's not too little, but not overpowering either ^_^ Definitely worth trying, because I don't believe that I ever broke out from using this at all.
Smell: It has a light sunscreen smell, but that doesn't bother me.
Texture: It's like a whipped cream. Wish makes it super light and easy to apply.
Packaging: It's a slim tube that's easy to carry around! It's purple, and the packaging is pretty!

Review: TheBodyShop "Vitamin E Illuminating Moisture Cream"

I love trying out new things, so I decided to pick this up on Black Friday when TheBodyShop was having their sale. I've heard some good things about this, and I was super excited to try this out!
Rating: 8 out of 10
Skin Type: All skin types, not really dry skin.
Me: Illuminating! That word just made me so excited! I first heard about this product from Fuz, and she said it was super illuminating! Well for me, I think it's kind of, but it's not the illuminating that you see shining from your face. I think overtime, this has made my skin better, like skin-tone, protecting, and just a healthier looking skin. It doesn't produce a lot of oil on my skin, so that's good ^_^ For me, I don't think I'm going to repurchase this one quite yet because I still want to try some other things!
How to: After washing and toning your face, apply this on! Day or night. What I usually do in the winter is kinda double up, but in the morning I always wash my face with water, and apply a nice thin layer.
Price: $18.50, but I got mine for $10! Definitely a great price when you wait for a sale. The original price is pretty decent too, and product itself is nice.
Quality: Moisturizing, and a little illuminating. After a while, I really do think it protects your face with the Vitamin E. (Vitamin E is very good for your skin.)
Smell: It smells like vitamins and baby oil! A really nice smell actually, and I don't mind it.
Texture: Soft texture, not too thick or runny. Easy to apply and your skin absorbs it well! It's a pale pink color, with a pearly look for illumination.
Packaging: It's in a jar... not the cleanest thing. But it'll be gone soon!

Review: TheBodyShop "Olive Body Butter"

So it's winter, and my skin is extremely dry. My heels started to crack and my hands were way too dry. Well on Black Friday, TheBodyShop was having a special "3 for 30" And usually, this is 20 dollars! It's like 50% off, I also grabbed a few other things that I might post later. And I bought two gift sets for Christmas too! I've heard of body butters, that's they're a lot more moisturizing, and it's so true!

Skin Type: All skin types, normal to dry skin.
Me: Naturally, I have dry skin on my body. A couple years ago when my friend visited me, she had body butter, and she said it was so moisturizing! She had the "Shea Butter" one, which is super moisturizing. Olive is really good for your skin too, and the smell doesn't bother me much. But I think it had too much oil in it, but maybe that's just me.
How to: I think the best time to apply moisturizer is when you get out of a shower and your pores are still open and your skin is moist so the moisturizer applies better. I spend about 5 minutes applying this to all over my body after I shower, and in the morning my skin is so soft!
Price: $20, but I got mine for $10! It was so worth it, just wait for a sale, it's not like your gonna die without this, haha.
Quality: Super moisturizing, but a little oily when you just apply it, but if you let it set, your skin is so smooth! The butter inside is so smooth!
Smell: Not my favorite smell, it's like a subtle smell. It sort of smells like a mix of olives and baby oil. Not the best smell, but it's gone after a few hours.
Texture: Totally smooth, and not sticky at all! The product itself is so buttery, smooths, and absorbs nicely.
Packaging: It's like in this jar, and you just scoop it out, kind of like butter! It gets a little slippery to close after applying it on.
Amount: 200 ml.

Review: Etude House "Yogurt Peel Cleansing Foam: Super Berry Mix"

Exfoliater and cleansing foam? Awesome! This is like Origin's "Check and Balance" wash, but it's with fruits! It's a good face wash when my skin is just blah. Fruits are just a plus for me too!

Me: I love this cleanser! It doesn't dry out my skin and it made my skin a lot better when it started to break out. It's a frothy face wash like the Origin's one just with little seeds that dissolves on to your skin when you clean your face. This yogurt cleansing foam has many varieties such as: nuts, fruits, and black food. I guess it just depends on your skin type and what you need for your skin.
Repurchase: Yes actually; I enjoyed this cleanser quite a bit.
How to: After wetting your face, apply a little bigger than pea-size amount to your fingers. Swirl and massage the cleanser all around your face, or until you don't feel the seeds anymore. Wash off with lukewarm water (splash with cold water if you want) and then continue with your daily routine!
Price: $17. Not a bad price I think! It's fruity and cute! A pretty good cleanser, but I want to try some other ones, so for now I'm not going to repurchase this.
Quality: Good facial cleanser! I wish there were more seeds in this thing! I have noticed that my skin does look a little brighter and has a sort of 'healthy' glow because of the fruit content. Exfoliating-wise; I didn't really notice any exfoliating going on, but if there is, it's like a super light daily one that keeps your skin from going dull.
Smell: It smells really mellow not stawberry-licious like I would have hoped! But that's okie I guess.
Texture: It's like a mousse texture, very frothy, creamy, and it lathers so well! (light pink color) The seeds aren't that hard, and they're soothing to your skin too!
Packaging: Cute pink packaging! Easy squeeze tube bottle.

Review: JuJu Cosmetics "Natural JuJu Moisture Aloe Cream"

Wow, it's been a while since I've posted! Everything is so hectic right now, sorry guys! So now it's winter, and that means dry skin. Boooo. Normal moisturizers just aren't doing it these days, and I finally found a really good moisturizer for my skin! It's simply amazing, it's 100% organic, and it's so moisturizing!

Me: Oh how much I love this little jar! I have finally met my perfect moisturizer..for now at least. It's super moisturizing, not oily, does not cause acne, and light! You only need a small amount for your whole face! This thing is my love of all my skincare stuff now ^_^
How to: After washing your face, toner, [serum], apply this. Or just apply it after you wash your face if you don't do all of the above stuff. You only need a small amount, like dip your finger it in once, and that's all you need!
Price: $15 on Yesstyle.com, but I went to this gift shop, and got it for $10. Not much of a difference, but I'm happy about the difference. Even the more expensive price at Yesstyle is worth it because this is probably the cheapest GOOD moisturizer I've ever used. Plus you only need a little bit every time! Totally worth it!
Quality: It's 100% organic aloe vera (super good for you skin). No artificial colors or fragrance, how awesome is that? Your skin will love this think for sure, it makes your skin so soft and moisturizing!
Smell: No fragrance, even better for your skin
Texture: It's between a gel and cream. It's not clear like a gel, but not thick as a cream. Light, your skin absorbs it quickly, and it stays on without drying your skin.
Packaging: Cute jar; simplicity is key!

Review: Skinfood "Rice Mask Wash Off"

My fourth out of the five things I got, I'm almost done! Hopefully you guys understand more about the products. I'm really happy today because I got my second order of things in today! Amazing!! I will probably post the haul picture of the products sometime this week. So exited!! I love the "food" theme, I am absolutely falling for it. ^_^

Me: This was like the biggest disappointment!! I mean, it still has a pretty good rating, but the reason why I'm really disappointed is because this mask was the one that I was expecting the most! I've heard lots of raves about it... but I guess it wasn't that miracle mask I thought it was. This is a good moisturizing and brightening mask. I used this at night, and my skin was really soft and "bright". There was a nice glow to it that lasted too! It's not like a heavy moisturizing mask like the Black Sesame Hot Mask, but just enough to keep your skin smooth and nice.
How to: Apply this to a a wet clean face. Massage it for about 30 seconds, and leave it on for about 10-15 minutes. As you wash it off, massage the product off. Dry your face, and continue your daily routine! I wonder how it would feel if i stick this in the fridge...
Price: 191,000 VND = 10 dollars. It's like half the price of the online prices, so it's definitely a plus. It's a pretty good mask, but for myself I wouldn't buy it again.
Quality: This is actually a pretty good mask, it brightens and moisturizes your face! I like it because it's not a heavy moisturizing, just enough for your face to look smooth.
Smell: It has a very nice refreshing smell. I didn't expect this from a rice mask... I smells more "green" than "grainy". It smells like the typical cucumber products, with a hint of sweetness.
Texture: It's foamy and slushy. It's a light texture with small rice grains also good for exfoliating. The foaminess of the mask makes you feel really good about yourself when you have it on...I don't know, I just feel really relaxed and happy when I'm using this.
Packaging: It's rice in a jar! How cute, I absolutely adore Skinfood packaging! I have a feeling this is going to last me a long time!

Review: Skinfood "Black Sugar Mask Wash-Off"

Today I saw my blog on Tiffany's website! Awesome, thank you Tiffany! I will try to post everything up as soon as I can so people can get an idea of the product. This will be my second review in my haul, so I hope you guys enjoy it!

Skin Type: All skin types
Me: It's hard to find a good exfoliater that really suits my changing skin. I haven't really found a good one yet, but so far this is the PERFECT one for me. After using this mask, my face is so soft, free of dead skin cells, so nourished, and smooth! Not only did this exfoliate my skin, but also cleansed my pores too by removing all impurities from my skin, leaving it clean and clear. It's not only a exfoliater, but also a mask. 2 in 1! I would TOTALLY repurchase this the next time, it is "da bomb". Make-up will go on smoother after using this too.
How to: After cleansing your face, apply this to a semi wet face (not dripping wet, but have your face wet). Apply an appropriate even layer on your face. **Make sure you have water on your face so it won't be so dry!** Massage in circular motions for a couple of minutes until you think your face is good; it shouldn't be more than 2 minutes. Leave it on for about 15 minutes, and then wash it off. Massage in circular motions again as you wash it off. After all of the product have been washed off, dry your face. And apply your other daily products you use. (I usually use masks at night.)
Price: 191,000 VND = 10 dollars. Awesome price! The other sites I've looked at has been selling them for like 18 dollars, so this is definitely a must for such a great product. Plus, it's the BEST exfoliater I have ever tried.
Quality: Does what's it's suppose to do! Moisturizing, hydrating, and soothing to the skin. Your skin looks so soft after using this!
Smell: It has a really nice smell, not overwhelming at all, just a very subtle smell that leaves your skin with a light fragrant. It smells like a sweet lime smell, I'm guessing the sweetness comes from the black sugar. I like the smell, but it doesn't smell like black sugar. Haha
Texture: It's just like sugar in a jar! It has a very sugary texture, like your putting on sugar on your face. It is very coarse and dry, and hard to take out of the jar. But just remember to put it on a wet face, so it will be easier to massage it.
Packaging: Like all the Skinfood packaging, it is in a little jar. I like it, you get to scoop out as much product as you would like.
